The Carl-Theodor Leyendecker Foundation supports individuals and families in their efforts on their own responsibility to cope with their difficult situation in life. It contributes towards creating a social framework to offer people orientation.
The Foundation’s purpose, under its articles of incorporation, is to assist people in need, to support handicapped persons and prisoners, to promote the care, upbringing and education of disadvantaged children, juveniles and adults, to protect marriage and the family through material assistance, as well as to give young people assistance in obtaining training and a job.
The Carl-Theodor Leyendecker Foundation was founded by the committed Trier entrepreneur Peter Leyendecker on 21 December 2007.
The financial basis of the trustee foundation has been entrusted to the legally independent foundation People in Need Caritas Foundation in the Diocese of Trier. This employs the funds of the Carl-Theodor Leyendecker Foundation in accordance with the directives and resolutions of the Board of Trustees, which is chaired by the Founder. The Carl-Theodor Leyendecker Foundation is a charitable foundation and as such recognised by Trier Tax Office under the reference number 42/655/1418/4-ll/2 of 11.01.2008.
Committed endowers and donors are welcome. Donations and endowments are tax deductible. You will receive donation receipts without special request.
